Robert Tirollo has over 18 years law enforcement experience and currently trains law enforcement officers and civilians nationwide. Rob specializes in Active Shooter Solo Response Tactics for Law Enforcement, Civilian Active Shooter Response, Close Quarters Lethal Threats, Counter-ambush Tactics, and various forms of armed and unarmed combat.
His background in law enforcement includes Patrol, Criminal Investigations, and Training Officer. He has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety Administration. Rob was a criminal justice academy instructor for 6 years in high-liability areas, as well as being responsible for teaching advanced law enforcement training classes.
Rob holds several instructor certifications including: Active Shooter Response, Firearms, Defensive Tactics, Reality Based Training, Ground Defense, First Aid, & Response to Lethal Threats.
Rob is a CrossFit Coach and has over 20 years of martial arts experience. He captured the title of Triple-Crown National Martial Arts Champion for two consecutive years, National Weapons Champion, and is in the National Sport Karate Hall of Fame. He is a current member of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) and the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), as well as a guest instructor.
Rob has trained thousands of people nationwide, including SWAT, Federal Agents, Military Personnel, Public and Private Schools, Universities, Police Officers/Deputies, Security Officers, Large Corporations, and Small businesses.
Matthew Blank has over 25 years of law enforcement experience and currently trains law enforcement and civilians in several regions across the country. Matt began his career as a Corrections Officer with a medium-sized Indiana Sheriff’s Department and quickly moved on to become a patrol officer. Matt’s duty assignments during his tenure with the department included corrections, courthouse security, patrol, SWAT, narcotics investigation, dignitary protection, threat assessments, training, hiring and recruiting, honor guard, motor officer, and patrol supervision. Matt retired from that agency in 2019 and relocated to Southwest Florida where he currently works as a patrol supervisor and trainer for an agency in Lee County.
During his time with his previous agency, Matt was a member of the SWAT team for 18 years, an Indiana state-certified instructor since 1999, vehicle operations and P.I.T. instructor, TASER instructor, OC instructor, chemical munitions instructor, less lethal instructor, distraction device instructor, active shooter instructor for both law enforcement and civilians, an AR15/M16 master armorer, and firearms instructor. Matt is also certified as a Florida Department of Law Enforcement instructor.
Kevin Watkins worked in Law Enforcement for 22 years. He began his career as an Auxiliary Police Officer and moved on to be a certified Corrections Officer. Kevin worked as a certified ARMY Drill Instructor for three years, rehabilitating repeat offenders. Kevin continued his career in the capacity of a certified Law Enforcement Officer position. He worked diverse components in this capacity, to include financial fraud investigations, auto theft, property crimes and the Marine unit. Kevin was a member of the Field Force Team, for a majority of his career and assisted in several large scale events, preventing civil unrest and riots.
Kevin continues to teach financial fraud investigations, firearm classes and works in the capacity of a private contractor, providing dynamic and static security.
As a federal agent, Chad was involved in operations across the globe. He specialized in close-quarters engagements and addressing various forms of terrorist threats. While serving his country, during an 11-year military career consisting of multiple overseas deployments, he was often tasked as a team leader for dignitary protection, the principles of which included the President, Secretary of the Army, and presidential candidates, among others. He is a Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training instructor for basic and advanced courses, a licensed paramedic, and certified in Hazmat Operations level.
Chad is a practitioner and instructor of Criminal Kinesics, the art of identifying criminal body language. The ability to decode a criminal’s natural stress reactions, even in a sea of thousands of people, can give clues about their intent. Chad is also able to identify deception using statement analysis and body language; his testimony in these areas has held up in court on every occasion presented.
Chad holds several instructor certifications including Firearms, Active Shooter, Criminal Kinesics (Criminal Behavior Detection), Critical Incident Response and Management, Force on Force, Simulated Munitions, Taser, and First Aid. Chad is also skilled at Large-Scale Mock Scenarios, Dignitary Protection, Port Security Operations, Defensive Edged Weapons, and Undercover Operations.
