The training will cover situational awareness, mental preparedness, history of active shooter events, psychological and physiological effects of a violent encounter, mistakes we’ve made, proper training defined, active shooter statistics / history, the origin of traditional lockdown and its intended purpose, U.S. Dept. of Education and Homeland Security federal guidelines, fundamentals of blood control, and a comprehensive breakdown on the federal guideline Run, Hide, Fight. It will also involve interactive demonstrations and scenario based training.
Employers nationwide are responsible for the safety and well-being of their employees, but fall short in providing a comprehensive safety training program. The training will cover situational awareness, mental preparedness, psychological and physiological effects of a violent encounter, proper breathing, evasion, redirection, striking, basic escapes, take-down, and targeting the human body for maximum stopping effect.
The training will continue where the level 1 class left off. It will encompass more advanced striking techniques, counters, garment control, advanced escapes, weapon defense, and handgun disarming.
The training will cover situational awareness and include job-specific hazards and red flags. It will also cover mental preparedness, psychological and physiological effects of a violent encounter, evasion and redirection, escapes from both standing and ground positions, easy take-down techniques, striking, using environmental items to protect themselves from attack, and targeting the human body for maximum stopping effects.
Elite Training’s Basic Pistol Course/CCW course will include the NRA gun safety seminar, which covers safety, storage, types of firearms, magazines, ammunition, sights, what to expect on the range, what you will need on the range, and cleaning your gun. The course will also cover the basics of pistol shooting. We will focus on stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, target acquisition, and breath control. This class will meet the requirements for your CCW.
Advanced Pistol will include shooting from different positions, shooting from cover, moving and shooting, and engaging multiple targets.
